REVIEW: Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World only God Knows)

The word "harem" carries quite a bad reputation in the anime community since studios would often cheat out by making a low-budget harem show that had high amounts of fanservice and bad content. Because of this, anime watchers tend to stay away from the harem genre in general, and most of the time this is a very good choice. However, I cannot say that for Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God only Knows), also called KamiNomi. Despite its seemingly repetitive formula of romance with multiple girls, this show proves to be a very enjoyable and entertaining watch.

Extra Content

Most people believe that studios earn money by selling their shows to TV stations; this can't be further from the truth. In fact, studios need to pay TV companies for timeslots. Most studios earn money by selling figures, DVDs, and other merchandise related to their shows (this is why conventions are such an important part of the industry). Because of this, it is a studio's best interest to keep viewers attached to their show even after airing. Extra content plays a huge role in this.

Predictions for the 2016 Summer Anime Season

It's looking pretty bad. I'll be damn straight, it looks pretty bad. Last season (Spring 2016) was brilliant; I came into the season not expecting much, and I was pleasantly surprised with some of the shows that came up. I hadn't looked up much information as to which studio was doing what show, and most of the major studios dealt out some great shows. So, to make up for my mistake last season, I researched what shows the major studios were cooking up.
